Svetoslav Baltakov
Svetoslav Baltakov is the creator, leader and author of the music and arrangements of most of the repertoire songs of "B-Folk". After graduating from the Academy of Music and Dance Art in Plovdiv, he worked as a gadular, and later as a conductor of DANPT "Filip Kutev", ensemble "Gotse Delchev", children's vocal group "Svetulki" and ensemble for Macedonian songs "Ilinden".
In 2002, he formed his first group "B-folk", which group recorded a CD and was popular mainly abroad. The formation performed songs from different regions of Bulgaria. Some of them are emblematic of given folklore areas. He began his joint work with "Iskra - 1964" community center in 2010, joining it with his Macedonian song ensemble "Ilinden". The ensemble consisted of a tambourine orchestra and a women's folklore choir and had participated in numerous festivals and concert programs in the country and abroad. In 2018, he formed a new group called "B-folk" at the community center "Iskra - 1964".

Vasilka Dotseva

Emilia Edrenova
She was born in 1994 in Sofia.
Emilia has a master degree in National Security and Defense. Since childhood, she has loved folklore music and participated in singing groups and school choirs. In 2008, she became part of the "Sidera" Vocal Folklore Formation with conductor Asya Baltakova. The group had many participations in international festivals and competitions. In 2021, she became part of the Chamber Vocal Group "B-Folk" with conductor Svetoslav Baltakov.

Daniela Dicheva
Born in 1968 in Asenovgrad.
She grew up in a musical family. She studied piano, solfège and guitar. Since childhood, she has been singing authentic Rhodope songs, learned in her family. She finished her higher education as an engineer at TU Sofia, but music is her faithful companion to this day. She studies and preserves the unique Bulgarian song folklore and traditions of our culture, so that our priceless folk art remains alive.
From 2004 to 2016, she sang in the "Chemerika" women's folklore choir, with conductor Darena Popova. The amateur band recreates arrangements of Bulgarian folklore songs by Bulgarian composers. The group has participated in many international folklore festivals, has won many awards from international and national competitions and has realized concert tours in Germany, Serbia, Italy, France, Greece, Holland, Hungary, etc.
Since 2016, Daniela Dicheva has been singing in the Folkloric Vocal Formation "Dilmana" at the NSD (National Student House) in Sofia, with conductor Darena Popova. The ensemble's repertoire includes entirely a cappella performances, colorful solos of authentic folk songs, as well as works by Bulgarian composers.
During the short time of its existence, the formation has participated in many international folklore festivals, competitions and concerts and has won well-deserved awards and honors and continues to delight the public in our country and around the world.
Since 2018, Daniela Dicheva has been part of the chamber vocal group “B-folk”, with conductor and artistic director maestro Svetoslav Baltakov.
The compositions and arrangements of Maestro Baltakov present the Bulgarian folklore song in a completely new and different way. The original instrumental accompaniment and treatment of each of the songs are impactful, original and at the same time close to the folk sound.

Veselina Lilova

Tanya Dakelova
She works in the healthcare field, but music has always been a part of her life. She grew up in a family of professional musicians and loved to sing and dance since she was a child. But the Bulgarian folk songs captivated her with their magic, and so Bulgarian folklore became a part of her life.
She was part of the trio "Iskar", VFF "Sidera" and now she feels happy that she takes her place in the Chamber vocal group "B-folk".

Latinka Hristova
Born in 1968 in Sofia.
She is a geologist by education, specializing in fossil vertebrates. But singing has always been her favorite pastime. As a student, she participated in school choirs or singing groups. Along with her mother, who often had sang at home, she fell in love with folklore songs.
In 1980, she began to sing in the Children's Folklore Choir of the Cultural Centre of Transport Workers, with conductor and leader Anastas Dafov. Later she moved to the Women's Folklore Choir, where she sang until 1987. Then life led her on other paths related to studying the geological and paleontological past of the Earth. And so until April 2019, when she became part of the Chamber Vocal Group "B-Folk" and again actively engaged in singing.

Nora Miteva
